Blessed rain
The downpour yesterday and today is a welcome respite after suffering for months under the blistering hot weather. The searing heat has become very much an epidemic after being a mere nuinsance for so long. The water in dams around the west coast is pretty much drying up especially down south. Melaka is at the moment depending on extra input of water from the Muar river. Despite the dry spell afflicting us, there are some oblivious buffoons who continue to engage in open burning. As of now, haze is blanketing many parts of the Klang Valley, Selangor, N.S. and even some parts of Melaka. (These are the places that i know of, anyway
As the rain continues its inundation, I hope that this rain will last...at least for a few hours. I hope the dry season has come to an end and please heavens, send forth those sprays of Evian, enough to cool us down but not hamper the lives of everyone.
