Barbeque
At time of posting, we're having barbeque at Desmond's place. It is supposed to be some sorta last gathering before everyone heads to Uni. It was the usual gang, sweating over the hot bbq grill chatting and eating. Nothing much transpired but nevertheless the presence of friends was somewhat comforting. In all likeliness, this would be the last such gathering unless a massive effort is undertaken by whomever to actually bring us all together again, and under such circumstances. I'm sure it'll be a fraction of this group come next gathering at each outing.
We had the usual marinated chicken wings (thanks to Des, Berv, Phil, Des's mom and sis(?) ), sting-ray, chicken fillet, hotdogs, artificial crab meat sticks, corn-on-the-cobs, hmmm let me see if I'm missing anything else....nope, that's all. We had 'cincau' to quench our thirst.
Much much later, we had our 'Dota' rounds at Utopia.
In retrospect, I enjoyed the bbq. :) The bickering, teasing, insinuating, laughter, and basically everything else has all the hallmark of another successful outing. Way to go!!!
