Last Gathering
We were supposed to have a class reunion at Sampan, organized by Kenneth and Eng Onn (at least that's what I was told). It was supposed to start at 7.00 but due to the fashionably late Huan Ren, we had to change venue (actually it was because the place was booked for a bank function, but let's keep the story exciting; sorry, HR) we head on down Klebang to ....err, I've forgotten the place, but it's on the same stretch of road as the International School there. It has a romantic setting, dimmed lights, a yard fronting the oceanline and all...The food however was pretty skimpy on the portions, considering the price we had to pay.
Everyone exchanged information as to their next university intake, courses and places and which university taking the bulk of the info-xchange, but there were some small gossips thrown in. Everyone seemed to be having a good time and I had the pleasure of meeting some friends that I thought I'd never see again, like Adrian Lau. :) Anyway, after all said and done, photos were taken and the company parted ways.
I went to Melaka Raya with Jih Houh and Mei Yoke and together we joined another crew, this time Choon Chiet's crew at a Malay eatery. Small talk here , chit chat there...and they're off to play Dota while I headed home. That's of course, not before I had some memorable conversation in the parking lot with Kenneth, Siong Kiat, and Hock Seng.
