Washing without water?
Well, not exactly without, but minimal rather. Absolutely fantastic. How is this done, you ask? With nylon beads.
What?!
They are tiny spherical beads that attract dirt as they tumble around the clothes in a washing machine. Apparently nylon has the ability to attract and retain dirts and stains.
Are the beads then thrown away after use?
It is said that the beads can be reused "hundreds of times" before being recycled. Is that green or what..
Well, I'm sold. If it ever hits the general market, I'll get one for my new crib, wherever that may be. (Though i'm hoping it somewhere...)
